Christmas Tree Decorating Ideas-The Jubilee of Trees 2017
Every year in Saint George, Utah, The Jubilee of Trees is celebrated the week before Thanksgiving to kick-off the Christmas season. It’s a charity event held every year to raise money for the local hospital. Local businesses and people from the community, sponsor a Christmas tree, which is decorated and then sold to the general public. The funds are used to support Dixie Regional Medical Center. It is a massive production, a wonderful charity event, and it only costs a few dollars for entrance to see the Christmas Trees. You will find the most amazing trees! They also have for sell Holiday Table Settings, Gingerbread Houses, Christmas Wreaths, Holiday Sweets and Treats, and Holiday quilted items. At the event, there are local performers, hot chocolate, and even Santa Claus is in attendance! If you are visiting Saint George the week before Thanksgiving, make sure you attend this Holiday Event. There are lots of creative and fun filled ideas to add to your holiday decor.
One of my favorite trees at the Jubilee of trees was a Christmas Tree decorated to the theme of Mrs. Claus’s Kitchen! It was covered in ornaments that you might actually find at the north pole! There were festive gingerbread men and cookies hanging from the branches of this beautiful tree. My husband’s favorite Christmas tree was one themed to the idea of snow skiing. It had a classic, old school flair. There was also a Harry Potter Christmas Tree, a 1920’s themed feather boa, and flapper Tree. My favorite tree of the evening was one that was filled with gingerbread houses that hung from the christmas tree. I hope you enjoy taking a look at these trees from the Jubilee of Trees Festival held right here in Saint George, Utah, and I hope you find lot’s of new ideas for decorating your Christmas Tree this season.
