Ahoy Mateys
This table setting is perfect for a Skeleton’s Feast! If you’re hosting a Halloween Dinner Party or Murder Mystery Dinner this Halloween–Here is an Easy idea for a table setting this October!
At the head of this spooky table, sits a pirate’s skeleton! “Ahoy mateys!” The Halloween wood signs says, “Come sit a while, I’m Dying to Meet You!”. A fun quote that really sets the mood!
A Little Old with a Little New
The Table cloth was hand crochet by my grandmother. It adds a beautiful vintage touch to this table setting. With the skeleton at the head, and a skull at his side–notice the skull to the right. This is a dollar store item that I studded out with rhinestone stickers from the dollar store. For just a couple dollars, you can create a spooky skeleton tablescape for your dinner party.
Bats in a Starry Night Sky
For the centerpiece, a fall floral arrangement with dollar store Terranium’s filled with dollar store bats, and a strand of copper fairy lights. These look beautiful lit up during the day or night! They remind me of bats flying through a starry sky.
Finishing Touches
For the place settings there are these fun skeleton dinner plates with different scenes. A skeleton riding a bike, a skeleton with a floral headpiece, a skeleton in a top hat, etc. They really add character to the table setting. Tarnished silver goblets, with silver plated forks and knives finish this scene, and to the right–“Drink up Witches” napkins with embossed silver writing. The plates are set on gold chargers to compliment the tarnished silver goblets.
