MY MOM IS A GREAT COOK
Donna’s Mexican Layered Dip–an easy recipe fit for a crowd!
This is my mom’s recipe! It is seriously my favorite recipe for Mexican Layered Dip. How can you trust me you say? How do you know I’m just not trying to drive traffic to my blog? Well, because if AND whenever I find a recipe I like better–I switch it out, and I have never found one to upgrade to! And so, if it’s on my blog–that means that it is still my favorite recipe! Mom’s recipe still wins–hands down! This is still my favorite Mexican Layered Dip!
So What Separates This Dip From ALL the other Mexican Layered Dips?
What separates this dip from ALL THE OTHER Mexican Layered Dips you have tried? Well–it’s the GUACAMOLE LAYER!!!!! This guacamole layer has some weird stuff in it–like mayo. So don’t freak out about the combination–just trust me! You will love it! I made this delicious appetizer for our Fourth of July Party, and it was such a hit! You could even jazz it up by adding a slightly sweetened salsa–and of course, make sure you use extra sharp cheddar! I use strongly flavored cheeses in all my dishes! It’s one of my secrets for achieving bold, unique flavors!
