Anytime you have curved seams, you will want to make sure that you mark notches on your fabric. Cutting notches keeps the seams lined up when your sewing two pieces of fabric together, however, on occasion you might be sewing on a fabric that it is difficult to see those cut notches. My sequin/lace fabric is one of those difficult types of fabric. The edges are rough and separated already, and so I had to get a little creative on how I marked my notches.
