Ideas For Your Thanksgiving Table Setting
Ideas For Your Thanksgiving Table Setting
It’s almost Thanksgiving, and I’ve been dying to get this post done. This post comes to you from The Everything Housewife, in collaboration with The Little White Loft Company–Beautiful Ideas for your Thanksgiving Table Setting! Well I am just in love with what we have going on here for Thanksgiving! You should be familiar with my table setting–I like to keep things simple as we transition over from Halloween decorations into Thanksgiving. I added a few simple changes to my centerpiece…you’ll notice that I added some light floral picks to pull out the whites, and some fresh pumpkins, and fall corn to a tiered platter. This tiered platter has been with me since my wedding reception. I bought it specifically for that purpose, and now I love pulling it out through different times of the year, and finding ways to update the old with new. The mason jar candle holders, believe it or not, were from the dollar store. I just added some Thanksgiving vinyl that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo machine. I had some fall feather pumpkins, which kind of look like they got in a fight with a Turkey–So of course we have to use those for Thanksgiving…..And don’t you just love my white glasses. Those are on clearance right now on Walmart.com. They are the The Pioneer Woman Adeline 12 oz Goblet, Set of 4…for a set of four glasses they are only $13. The shipped to my house in only a couple of days, and so if you are looking for some beautiful glasses that are affordable, and versatile–these are a great purchase.
It doesn’t take much to jazz up your Thanksgiving Table setting. One of the simplest ways to do this, is to add a table runner! Then from there, adding candles as simple as tea lights can do a lot to dress things up. Be creative with your table setting! You can scatter fresh backyard greenery, with some fresh pumpkins, or take a versatile centerpiece like mine, and add floral picks. You can find floral picks at the Dollar Store (which is where some of mine came from), also Hobby Lobby, Tai Pan, Michaels, Joann, and even Walmart. My fresh assorted pumpkins just came from my local grocery store. I hope you enjoy these table settings as much as we did. My friend and cousin Sue, from The Little White Loft Company is a talented decorator, and she just has the cutest ideas for fall. Be sure to check out her fall table setting, and you can find a free printable version of her place cards on her blog. Happy Thanksgiving!
