Sewing On The Sequin Fabric—This was probably the part that I was most nervous about. Sewing on sequin can, and has been challenging for me in the past. Luckily, it went quite smoothly. I bought heavy duty blue jean needles for this task, and it was much easier than I thought it was going to be. Sequin can often be challenging to sew on, however I am very pleased with the fabric I selected. The fabric I chose isn’t solid sequin, rather it’s almost a lace–type pattern with scattered sequin’s across the front! I didn’t feel like I was sewing on sequin’s at all to be frank. Don’t be afraid to sew on sequin (because I no longer am. Ha ha!) One more step in the process of my Little Black Dress.
