Now it’s time to sew the glass beads directly on the dress. It is very important to keep your rows straight, and to do that, it is necessary to mark your rows. The sequin fabric I am using presents a challenge because it’s not as simple as it might appear to mark the sequin with a line of chalk or wax, so I have opted to mark it with a row of pins. Also, I am still deciding on bead placement. I’m not sure if I will bead the entire dress, or leave the bodice open. Some of these things must be decided after we see how the dress looks.
